Testimonials

The Southside Wildcats are more than a football team, it’s a family. This organization does more than teach young folks the game of football, they also teach life skills with the focus being Christ, how to be good productive citizens, how to help your neighbor and better your community. The Wildcats organization is a great example of the Christian experience and my boys and I are proud to be a part of it. #WC4L

Trina Wells, Operations Manager @FedEx

I grew up in a single parent home in a pretty rough neighborhood in NY and it was sports and the coaches I had in sports that helped guide me in the right direction and partially mold me into the man I am today. So to be able to pour into young men who are experiencing a similar upbringing that I had and to have the opportunity to positively shape their character through coaching, sharing my faith but more importantly showing my faith by modeling it to them is a true blessing to me. Also to be able to have fellowship with other Godly coaches as we coach is another huge blessing! To have been so blessed to be able to serve the Wildcat family in this way is a joy!

Bill Seely, President Varsity Spirit

I volunteer with the Wildcats because I want to make a difference in the lives of young men. God has called me as a disciple and follower of Jesus to pour my life back out for His purpose and His kingdom. Volunteering with the Wildcats affords me the opportunity to share with the young men and women my Involvement and love for Christ and how He has made an impact in my life and how He can make an impact in theirs.

Jeff Jordan

I volunteer with the Southside Wildcats because I strongly support the effort of developing student athletes while introducing Christ through athletics. The sense of community and family within the organization is inspiring as we work together to create a positive outlet for the students we serve.
